Join the group

Brighter Futures is a family brought together by our shared experiences. Membership is open to young migrants aged 18-25.

We meet every Wednesday evening at Praxis Community Projects in Bethnal Green, where we meet to share our thoughts, plan campaigns, eat delicious food together, play games and have fun. It’s a space to meet new people and have fun. At the moment we are meeting on Zoom. Brighter Futures is run by Praxis and Kazzum Arts, and sessions are led by Nishta, our Youth Organiser, and Arji, our creative facilitator.

There’s no pressure to come every week, and you’re welcome to try it out before you commit to anything. It doesn’t cost anything to join the group, and we do everything we can to make sure you don’t end up out of pocket if you attend (this includes travel costs if you need them).

How to Join

If you are a young migrant who is undocumented, or have been negatively impacted by the hostile environment, expensive immigration application fees, long and anxious waits for a Home Office decision or unfair treatment because of your immigration status, then we are here for you. If you would like to join Brighter Futures, get in touch with us by emailing us here:

Brighter Futures is a welcoming environment where you can express yourself. We are full of life and full of love. We support each other, we are fighting for changes for young migrants to have a better lifestyle. Brighter Futures helps young migrants to have a powerful voice and to stand up for ourselves.
